AnB Education
Dear Residents
I would like to introduce myself to you: My name is Jay Li and I am an Associate Marketing Director at AnB Education, a program pairing exchange students with U.S. public high schools and private schools for short-term study, one semester or one academic year. Each year students from all over the world come to the United States to learn English and experience our unique culture. Hosting one of these students in your home is an incredible opportunity for a family. Please see the attached flyer to learn more about the AnB Education program.

We are attempting to identify new Volunteer Host Families for Spring 2019. We have several students who are looking for Volunteer Host Families that may be able to apply to your local high school. Please learn more about these students below:

 Minjae (James) is a 15-year-old South Korean boy. James wishes to study abroad to improve his English and deeply experience American culture. James hopes to make many friends of various nationalities. In the future, he hopes to pursue a medical career. James is an only child and his education is very important to him and his family.

 Khoa Phuoc Minh Nguyen is a Vietnamese student who will be turning 15-years-old in October 2018. Khoa went on a trip last year that inspired him a lot and led to his decision to pursue a U.S. high school diploma and degree in the future. Khoa’s brother attends a community college in Washington State. In the future, Khoa would like to be a professional manager of Tourism and Hospitality Management.

Once have a volunteer host family and school that will accept our students, we can send these detailed profiles on the students in which we are looking for host families along with the Volunteer Host Family application. The family can then decide which student may be a good fit to host for a semester or an academic year. Since the students will be entering the U.S. with a J-1 visa, the program is strictly voluntary. The host family won’t be eligible to receive any monetary compensation for hosting the student, only the knowledge they are helping the student’s dreams come true.

If you know anyone who may be interested in being a Volunteer Host Family or you can offer any advice on community outreach in your area, please let us know. We look forward to establishing a relationship with you. Please feel free to give me a call back with any questions at 267-885-5999. Thank you for your time and consideration.
