The Side-Out Foundation is creating 150,000 origami cranes to honor the 150,000 women and men living with stage IV breast cancer in the US. We need your help to create the cranes; we only need 20,000 more!!
We provide all the supplies, which are available for pick up at our office located at 3935 University Dr. Fairfax, VA 22030.
Cranes will be strung on a stand, in groupings of 1,000. Each grouping of 1,000 cranes is a wish and our wish is for all stage IV cancer patients live long and fruitful lives. If you are interested, please sign up here: http://info1.side-out.org/crane-project/

Mission Statement
The Side-Out Foundation is both a nonprofit and research organization committed to providing life-extending solutions for those with stage IV breast cancer while giving anyone receiving a breast cancer diagnosis hope for more tomorrows.
Description
Whether stage IV breast cancer is someone’s first diagnosis or a recurrence following treatment for earlier-stage breast cancer, once the cancer has metastasized, it cannot be eradicated. While breast cancer treatment has vastly improved, patients with late-stage breast cancer will remain in treatment for the rest of their lives and the need for innovative treatment solutions is ongoing.
Side-Out is committed to providing solutions for the stage IV breast cancer community and strives to be a resource for all those living with breast cancer in search of answers and treatment options.
