ORGANIZATION: Friends of the Wells Branch Library

Storytime

Make an impact on young children and their families as part of our library's 1, 2, 3 Play With Me program, assisting with weekly art projects to develop fine motor skills and creative thinking. This volunteer will work directly with children age 0-3 years and their caregivers, under the supervision of the Children's Librarian.

Requires availability on Fridays 9:15-10:45am, from February 1 to March 1. Open to volunteers age 14 & up.

Description

Friends of the Wells Branch Community Library (FOL) is a local organization that supports the community library by helping to fund special programs, provide equipment and provide volunteers for all areas of the library including children's programs, employment assistance, and computer services to the general public. The FOL secures volunteers to help move books and other materials into the hands of the patrons.
