Hello Future Interns,

Companion Hospice and Palliative Services are looking for Hospice Volunteer Recruiter Intern(s) for our Simi Valley, Arcadia and Downey offices. We are looking for a qualified individual who can assist our Area Volunteer Manager(s) with logistics and other responsibilities. This individual will be well versed in coordination and interpersonal skills. This would be a great position for those who are in school or training in the following: marketing, public relations, communications, recruitment, human resources, philanthropy, involvement in foundations or charities, in need of coordination or management skills.

Responsibilities:
-Recruitment
-Screening and Interviewing
-Train volunteers
-Volunteer relations
-Public relations
-Assist Area Volunteer Manager(s) with outside responsibilities
-Assist marketing team with projects and programs
-Assist with the So Cal Hospice Foundation responsibilities and projects


Qualifications:
-Must be at least 18 years of age
-Must have reliable transportation
-Must be in school or a graduate
-Must have a negative TB test reading (we can provide in our office)
-Must have a cleared background check
