Massage Therapy Hospice Volunteers are Welcomed!
We would be honored to have a couple of Massage Therapist Hospice Volunteers assist our families facing the end-of-life decline of a loved-one.
If you are considering this post, I don't need to tell you the intense comfort that appropriate touch can bring to a situation where touch has been forgotten.
If you are willing to do what it takes to become a Hospice Volunteer, please consider joining our group of Hospice Volunteers servicing Ocean County. Hospice Volunteers go through a training, as well as various background and health checks.
More details are available by requesting an Introductory Packet. [This Packet is printed, so please provide a mailing address.]
The next training opportunities will begin early February.

- About 3 hours a week is traditional, but we hope you will be available for no less than 6 hours a month. We are willing to work with you to make your involvement happen, but you should have some time to give. ("Snow Birds" are welcome.)
- We need people we can trust, so background checks are done. Reliable transportation is needed to get to assignments. And we want you to be comfortable going on visits so an initial training and then on-going education is required.
