As a bereavement volunteer you can help in a number of ways. You could make phone calls and send letters from our office in downtown Cartersville, or you can go and spend time with our deceased patients' loved ones to offer them emotional support or a shoulder to cry on.

Homestead Hospice care is specialized in providing support to patients and their loved ones during the final phase of a terminal illness. Hospice care focuses on comfort and quality of life, rather than a cure. The purpose of hospice care is neither to end nor prolong life, but rather to relieve the pain and discomfort of symptoms and give support to patients and their families during "Lifes most important journey"
