In this position you will have the opportunity to honor and serve our nation's heroes by assisting the Chaplain with Sunday Protestant Service held for Veterans and their family members. Some of your duties will include:

Inviting patients to Worship Services, setting up the Chapel, transporting wheelchair patients and residents to and from Chapel and programs, conversing with patients after services, and cleaning up after Worship Service. The ability to play the piano during Worship Service is an added bonus, but not a requirement.

This is a great opportunity for parents and their children to volunteer together.

Time commitment is from approximately 12pm-3:00pm each Sunday.

*The Fargo VA has a 50 hour lifetime volunteer requirement, and all volunteers must pass a background check, submit to a TB test, and obtain a flu shot prior to volunteering.
