Greetings Volunteers!

Companion Hospice is looking for Bilingual and/or Multilingual Volunteers who can provide companionship to our Hospice patients. We are in need of compassionate and dedicated volunteers who can cater to our multilingual hospice community. These volunteers would be providing companionship through socialization with terminally patients who reside in their homes, skilled facilities or board and cares. Each volunteer will be assigned to their own patients that they will visit independently.

Qualifications:
-Must be fluent in a second language
(currently looking for Spanish speaking)
-Must have reliable transportation
-Must be at least 18 years of age
-Must have negative TB test screening

Incentives:
-Certificate of completing for Hospice Training
-Awards based on performance
-Occasional meal cards
-Letter of recommendation (if necessary)

Description

Companion Hospice provides physical, emotional and spiritual support for terminally ill patients and their families. With the help of the volunteers-- patients and family members can spend the remaining time living with the dignity and respect all people deserve.
