VITAS Healthcare is looking for an Administrative/Office Volunteer to help at our Festus office location. Administrative/Office volunteers promote hospice care by helping perform clerical assignments in an office setting. They support patients and families by preparing mailings, computer input, answering the phones and assisting with special projects. These projects include maintaining patient records, filing, as well as making nursing admission and legal packets. An Administrative/Office Volunteer is needed during the business hours of Monday through Friday anytime between 8am to 5pm. This volunteer office position is estimated to be around 3 to 4 hours a week. The hours are flexible and completely up to you and anytime you can contribute is greatly appreciated. Training and ongoing supervision is provided from VITAS staff and the Volunteer Services Manager.
