Looking for Veteran volunteers to aid in being of service to our hospice patients who are veterans and their families through visits; participation in the We Honor Veterans program; and further growth and facilitation of the veterans' needs during the dying process.

Description
Hospice provides support and care for persons in the last phases of incurable disease so they may live as fully and as comfortable as possible. Hospice recognizes dying as a part of the normal process of living and focuses on maintaining the quality of remaining life. Hospice affirms life, and neither hastens nor postpones death. Hospice focuses on caring, not curing and in most cases care is provided in the patients home, which enables families to stay together in peace, comfort and dignity.
