We are looking for an up and coming Marketing person to help us identify, grow and help our non-profit and our founder get more recognition within not only our local community but country wide.

We are primarily a horse rescue and rehabilitation center but we support all animals in need. We promote veganism and would like to target that audience online - social media etc as well as our rescued horses, training methods etc. We also need help marketing our charity with speaking engagements, not only about horses and animals but how we can learn so much from them in our careers, our personal growth and our daily lives.

This volunteer match can be virtual but it would be nice to have someone relatively close to Santa Cruz, CA. A working knowledge of horses, the meat and dairy industry and a vegan would be great but not essential.

About 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit

C/O 480 La Cuesta Drive, SANTA CRUZ, CA 95066, US

Mission Statement

Our mission is to work with rescue horses, horse owners, communities, organizations and governments to help improve welfare standards and stamp out ALL equine suffering. We not only work with abandoned, abused, neglected or slaughter bound horses, BLM captured wild horses and wild horse advocacy. We aim to educate horse owners, provide re-training when needed and educate people/children to interact with horses in a way that benefits both horse and human.

Canham Farm Horse Rescue is not your typical Horse Rescue or Horse Rehabilitation Facility. We rescue and help end the suffering of abused, neglected, and wild horses.

We are committed to reducing the greatest amount of suffering for the largest number of horses through advocacy, education and, when possible, exposing cruelty and prosecuting abusers.
