Maybe you have thought about hospice volunteering but were unsure if it was the right fit for you. Isn’t it very difficult and depressing? Certainly you have to have a lot of special skills. Don’t you have to have a lot of time to give? Hospice volunteering is not for everyone, but it is neither depressing nor difficult. It is inspiring to be with patients. Anyone who wants to share compassion has the basic skills needed - we train you for everything else. We would love to answer any other questions you might have.
