Deliver supplies to patients homes/assisted living facilities/nursing homes. Make a difference in the few moments that you are there by being the friendly face on the other side of the door.
Routes begin from central Pinellas and are directed back to where you live or your location of choice.
Volunteers requested to commit to a 2-3 hour shift per week (bi-monthly and monthly opportunities also available).
Flexible scheduling: daytime, afternoons, evenings and weekends available with the largest need being evening and weekends.
Driver orientation required after Patient and Family Support Training
Volunteer Orientation is a 4 hour training session for individuals interested in learning more about Empath Health's volunteer opportunities.Patient & Family Support Training consists of 12 hours of training for individuals interested in providing caring support to Suncoast Hospice Patients and families. Empath Health Volunteer Orientation is a prerequisite.
