In the 1980’s Everett’s Rotary Club donated time and money to make Rotary Park the beauty it is today. By volunteering with the Green Everett Partnership you will help to continue this legacy. Come help us remove invasive plants such as Himalayan Blackberry and English Ivy.
If you are under 18 and will NOT be accompanied by supervising adult/parent/guardian you will need to bring the youth release waiver form signed by your parent/guardian to the event.
The Green Everett Partnership Vision: Healthy forested parklands supported by an aware and engaged community in which individuals, neighborhoods, nonprofits, businesses, and city government are all working together to protect and maintain their valuable public resources.

Mission Statement
Forterra's mission is to act with immediacy to protect, enhance and steward our region's most precious resources--its communities and its landscapes. Since 1989, we have been working toward a future in which our children and grandchildren can experience nature in and around our urban environments.
Description
Forterra conserves land by working with individuals, companies and local governments. We strive to maximize the ecological value of land, while meeting the needs of landowners. We may accept land as a donation, purchase it, or transfer it to public ownership. We often serve as a broker to identify and negotiate the most effective ownership to protect important lands. We establish conservation easements to preserve special features. For each and every property, we explore available strategies or create new ones to provide permanent protection. Forterra has established a Conservation Agenda for our region, with specific priorities and methods for each type of landscape. Current initiatives include the protection of working forests on the foothills of the Cascades, and the creation of salmon sanctuaries along our region's highest quality rivers and streams.
