Greetings!
Companion Hospice is looking for qualified Medical Administrative Assistant interns for our Downey and Pasadena office. This position is ideal for individuals who are in school or who have graduated from the following: Healthcare administration, nursing students, medical assistants, CHHA's, healthcare related, administrative related, public health, etc.
Responsibilities:
-Assisting the office staff with clerical duties
-Answering incoming calls
-Assist Marketing team with field duties
-Visitations to patients for quality assurance
-Volunteer recruitment efforts
-Attend interdisciplinary meetings on a weekly basis
-Assist all disciplines with documentation and other tasks
-Assist with bereavement calls and correspondents
-Filing and organizing
-Medical supply and office inventory
-Occasional coffee and food runs
-Office maintenance
-Working closely with the Administrator ,Volunteer Manager and Office Manager

Requirements:
-Must be at least 18 years of age
