Are you looking for a flexible, personal and rewarding volunteer opportunity where you can help others?
Suncrest Hospice is recruiting bereavement volunteers for the special opportunity to support families as they face the loss of a loved one. Bereavement volunteers are responsible for supporting our bereavement coordinator in making bereavement calls, facilitating support groups, and/or setting up for specials events such as memorials. This is a great opportunity for individuals considering a degree in Social Work or counseling.
We ask that bereavement volunteers commit to a minimum of 4 hours a month.
We provide in-depth training for new volunteers as well as guidance and support throughout your time as a volunteer.
We hope you will consider joining our team of compassionate caregivers to make a difference in the lives of those facing end-of-life.

We are a new Hospice company seeking volunteers with various types of hobbies or interests but most importantly, volunteers who are able to provide companionship to our patients.
