The Diamond in the RAW Foundation currently looking for board members for their organization. If possible, can you place this on your site? Thanks in advance
Ten-year old LA-based nonprofit, Diamond in the RAW Foundation has an excellent opportunity for professionals and entertainment executives who believe in the importance of empowering and transforming lives of economically and disadvantage teen girls through the arts and STEAM EDUCATION. Girls from all BACKGROUNDS should be treated equally and introduced to career opportunities which can change disenfranchised communities regardless of gender or race. DITR teaches girls age 13 to 18 the importance of talent, education and skills that will assist with in their career advancement.
If this describes you, please consider submitting yourself for consideration as member of our Board of Directors. As a board member, you, along with your fellow directors, WILL DRIVE THE strategic guidance and oversight of the organization and will play a key role in:
- Enhancing the mission, organizational strategy and vision of the founder
- Fiduciary oversight
- Advocating for and working on direct fundraising on behalf of the organization
- Lending your professional expertise to the organization
- Meeting and assisting with procuring influencers

The Diamond in the Raw Foundation is a 501(C)(3) organization that is devoted to recycling the lives of at-risk teens by edifying and educating teens about rarely exposed careers in the entertainment industry. We focus on athleticism, education, vocational, cognitive and social skills, by developing and expanding generation X and Y's expectations and life coping skills for achievement.Description
