Volunteers in this assignment bring the hospital's library and leisure reading materials to the bedside for patients.
Using a book/magazine cart, the volunteer
- Chooses a variety of magazines and books and loads them onto the cart
- Brings leisure reading right to the bedside of patients as well as to a few waiting areas.
Volunteers can be scheduled for this assignment Tuesday-Friday in the morning (9am-1pm) or the early/mid afternoon hours.
