Parenting Village's Nurture program is seeking a volunteer to assist with recruiting Nurture Volunteers from the Rochester, NY community.
Nurture volunteers are individuals that are passionate about offering support and connection to families with babies. It truly takes a village to raise a child and the Nurture program helps to build a village to support families through the many transitions that come with parenthood.

-hold a newborn so caregivers may rest, recover, or even shower
-offer compassionate listening, understanding, and peer support
-attend to needs of older siblings
-help with basic household tasks
-assist with diapering, feeding, and soothing baby
-offer connections to existing community resources

-Work closely with the Nurture Program Coordinator
