Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Socializing with cats and kittens, making sure they have proper exercise time.
-Feeding the kitties and making sure their cat area is organized and cleaned, cleaning the litter box, making sure they have blankets and toys, etc.
-Cleaning & sanitizing the cats areas once they go home.
-Being a part of a team & communicating to the rest of the volunteers and Darbster staff each time a shift is over.
-Being aware and empathetic towards the cats-this includes deciphering when something may be wrong with that cat and communicating it to Darbster staff immediately.
-Sometimes may be responsible for assisting with the adoption process, i.e. helping adoptees with the contract, taking an adoption photo, collecting payment, etc.
-Communicating to potential adopters in a professional manner & notifying Darbster staff if and when any issues arise.
-Communicating to Darbster staff when an adoption application is received.
