Are you passionate about improving the lives of children in need and their families? A Precious Child Store Volunteer position might be a great fit for you!
A Precious Child provides children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential. We collect donated new and gently-used clothing, coats, undergarments, socks, shoes, toiletries, home goods and other essentials and distribute them to children and families in the most need through our Resource Center. Families come in and shop for the essentials they need in a welcoming store-like setting, all provided at no charge.
Store volunteers assist with a variety of tasks which include ensuring a welcoming atmosphere by providing a dignified and respectful experience to clients, stocking the store, checking families out at the end of their shopping visit and more!
Our client facing volunteer opportunity provides the chance for our Volunteer Team to make connections with our kiddos and their families and these connections provide you a first-hand experience of how your hard work makes a difference in a child’s life.
We offer impactful and fun Store Volunteer opportunities in four hour shifts. If you would like to join on our team or would simply like more information please contact Joshua Walsh, Volunteer Associate, at Joshua@Apreciouschild.org

A Precious Child, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides children in need with opportunities and resources to empower them to achieve their full potential. A Precious Child envisions a future where every child grows up to be a secure, self-reliant, contributing member of their community.
A Precious Child assists children and families facing difficult life challenges such as abuse and neglect, crisis situations, and poverty. We work with more than 300 agency partners throughout eight counties which include Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas, Jefferson, and Weld Counties to identify children and families in the most need of our services. Our core initiatives help build the whole child, in addition to meeting basic human needs through our Resource Center and Boutiques (satellite resource centers), we also help children and their families navigate community resources.
We aim to bridge the gap in a child’s education so that they can become a secure, self-reliant, contributing member of their community as adults.
