Blythe House Hospice care and Helen’s Trust, have an innovative and exciting opportunity to volunteer in the community. The Community Volunteer Service is designed to offer extra support to people facing a life-limiting illness, in the comfort of their own home.
Join our team of volunteers to provide practical and emotional support that provides another layer of non-clinical care to patients, family members and carers.

Since 1989, we have been able to help, inspire and change the lives of people within the High Peak living with cancer and life limiting illnesses as well as their friends, families, and carers by walking through the doors of Blythe House. We pride ourselves on offering bespoke services to each individual that we see.

Blythe House Hospice care, in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, have recently introduced an innovative and exciting opportunity to volunteer in the community. The Macmillan Community Volunteer Project (MCVP) is designed to offer extra support to people facing a life-limiting illness, in the comfort of their own home.
Join our team of volunteers to provide practical and emotional support that provides another layer of non-clinical care to patients, family members and carers.
