Are you an animal lover or training for an animal health care career? We need you to volunteer with us!
The primary responsibilities are to assist the veterinarians and technicians with supportive duties in both the surgical program and clinical needs.
- Work is performed in a fast-paced clinic/shelter setting with frequent interruptions.
- Care of animals housed in clinic area: cleaning cages, refreshing litter boxes, walking dogs, feeding and watering patients.
- Shelter animal care: assisting veterinary staff as needed with cleaning, laundry, trash disposal, sweeping and mopping, etc.
- Surgery Assistance: wrapping surgery packs, cutting drape for surgery, cleaning and sanitizing instruments.
