Are you passionate about fighting Alzheimer’s disease? Do you want to get more involved with the Alzheimer’s Association and The Longest Day? Then we need you!
Join The Longest Day Committee to help recruit participants, provide coaching on fundraising and event planning, and spread the word about this exciting event. We’ll help you find a role that fits your interests, skills and schedule.
The Longest Day is the day with the most light - the summer solstice. On June 20, people from across the world will fight the darkness of Alzheimer's through a fundraising activity of their choice.
Formed in 1980, the Alzheimer's Association advances research to end Alzheimer's and dementia while enhancing care for those living with the disease.
The Alzheimer’s Association is the world’s leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research. The Greater Iowa Chapter provides vital services, education, and support to people living with Alzheimer's, family members affected and caregivers affected by Alzheimer's. We serve those affected by providing these services in 75 Iowa and 5 Illinois counties. Offices are located in: Burlington, Dubuque, Fort Dodge, Quad Cities, Sioux City and West Des Moines (chapter headquarters). Our 24/7 Helpline is available by calling us at 1.800.272.3900.
