Join us in this community service activity to "pull together" and remove invasive plant species and litter found in the salt marshes around the Interpretive Center. Bring your own gloves and trowel or borrow ours. Please RSVP online: https://www.haywardrec.org/152/Volunteer-Opportunities
Additional Information:
- We will have participants sign a waiver the day of; for anyone under 18, a parent or guardian will need to sign it as well.
- We'll have gloves on loan, and all other materials needed.
- We recommend bringing water, dressing in layers, and wearing sunscreen. For our longer events, volunteers are also welcome to bring a snack.

Perched on stilts above a salt marsh, the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center is your introduction to the ecology of the San Francisco Bay-Estuary. The Interpretive Center features exhibits, programs and activities designed to inspire a sense of appreciation, respect and stewardship for the Bay, its inhabitants and the services they provide.
