How do I register? All individuals and groups are kindly asked to RSVP to save your spot(s) by filling out our quick Registration Form on our website (https://friendsoftrees.org/event-calendar/). Registration is highly recommended but not required.

Join Friends of Trees and the City of Salem for the final planting event at the Minto Island Conservation Area. Help put the finishing touches on the planting project along the new multi-use path connecting Riverfront Park with the greater Minto Brown Island Park -- many hundreds of native trees and plants await your assistance to be in their forever homes! This event is partially funded with grants from Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board and Meyer Memorial Trust.

Please arrive by 8:45am to sign-in and enjoy some breakfast treats and coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. The planting starts promptly at 9:00am. We provide gloves, tools, and guidance, so all you need to do is show up dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy shoes or boots - and be ready to have fun!

Under age 18? A signed youth waiver (https://friendsoftrees.org/youthwaiver) is required for you to volunteer. We ask that youth 15 years and younger are accompanied by an adult.

Please contact Jenny, Pablo, and Carey at (503) 595-0213 // volunteer@friendsoftrees.org if you have questions or need any further information. We look forward to seeing you out there!
