Are you a dog lover who would like to assist us in bringing love and laughter back into the lives of our Hospice patients? We are currently seeking 5 dog owners who would like to share their pet with our patients. Many of our patients have had dogs and loved them very much. In the facility, they were not able to move their pet in with them. Many long to just have a dog visit and the opportunity to cuddle and love on them. If you have a 2+ year old dog (any breed) who responds well to your commands and enjoys new people then would you please consider sharing them? Who knows your pup just might gift you with a new best friend.
The commitment is 2 hours once a month. My ideal plan is to have 5 volunteer pet owners who would each visit during one week a month.
