The Camp Fleming Leadership Summit gives middle school and high school age Girl Scouts the opportunity to grow their leadership skills and foster their passions for leadership and service. Girls will learn new leadership styles, make new friends, and experience the outdoors. Volunteers will support girls as they develop into stronger leaders, make new friends and experience a lifetime of adventures. Event volunteers will assist staff with all event related activities including enrichment activities, registration, set-up and clean-up. Volunteers will also help with meal prep, supervision, workshops and training.

Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • Passionate about encouraging girls to explore, learn and grow
  • Supportive of different learning and communication styles
  • Desire to provide high-energy experiences to girls
  • Willing to provide essential event support such as event organization, meal prep, set-up and clean-up
  • Experience working with middle school and high school age youth, helpful but not necessary
  • Can life a minimum of 5 pounds
  • Punctual, dependable, enthusiastic, flexible and positive attitude
  • Must be over 18 years old
  • Have a car and willing to drive to Camp Fleming
