Do you enjoy spending time outdoors in green spaces? Do you want to chat with fellow volunteers while learning valuable gardening skills? It's planting time and our talented Horticulturists will show you how and where!

Tuesday afternoon shifts will be working with Brianna, Saturday morning shifts will be working with Brianna, but Sunday afternoon shifts will be working with Kristine.

Look for the "Volunteer Here" sign and Enter through the closed gate, please close after entering. Meet at mudroom door/South entrance of the Wagner House.

We will provide tools, snacks and water. You bring a water bottle, garden clothes and your sense of adventure.

Description

Located in Lakewood, WA, Lakewold is a 10-acre non-profit public garden and National Historic Site. Lakewold offers landscape architecture by Thomas Church, unique Garden Rooms, a large collection of rare and native plants, State Champion trees, over 900 rhododendrons, and 30 Japanese maples.

Lakewold's Georgian style mansion and historic architecture complete the gardens, where visitors can step back in time to an elegant past or enjoy a relaxing moment to contemplate the future.

An inspirational experience where generations of family can discover common ground through the beauty of the garden.
