A hospice volunteer provides additional support to patients and their families, often during what may be one the most difficult periods of their life. Support can be provided in a variety of ways including companionship and socialization, assistance with errands, occasional respite for family, and assistance with special projects. Volunteers maintain close contact with Volunteer Coordinator for concerns and support.

Care at Home Denver is in its second year of providing hospice and palliative care to the Denver-metro community. Its employees, including Registered Nurses, social workers, chaplains, certified nursing assistant, and care navigators, are dedicated to providing patients and their families with the best end of life care.
