Little Village READS a literacy initiative for 1 st through 3 rd grade students in the Little Village Community. Students meet with tutors after school to work on building essential reading skills. Tutors engage students in free reading, interactive games, and fun literacy activities. If you are interested in being a tutor, we would love to hear from you! This is a great opportunity to gain some hands-on experience working with an amazing group of kids.
This opportunity will be virtual and open to all 50 states. All tutoring will be done on Zoom. A reliable internet connection is a must.
The days available are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. 3:15 to 5 PM Central Standard Time.
NOTE: We are hoping to supplement our in-person tutoring with online volunteer opportunities, however we are still in the process of accessing our capability to do this. If you are interested please let us know!
