Do you have an appetite for helping others, as well as for social media? Community Culinary School of Charlotte (CCSC) is a non-profit organization that provides Workforce Training and Job Placement in the food service industry for adults who are facing barriers to employment.
We are looking for a volunteer who can help with taking photos, posting on Facebook and Instagram, and assisting the Development Team with marketing. This person will also help with answering the phones, as well as administrative tasks as needed. Word Press knowledge and website interaction a plus.

Mission Statement
Community Culinary School of Charlotte (CCSC) is a nonprofit organization that provides training and job placement assistance in the food service industry for adults who face barriers to long-term successful employment. Our program provides solutions to achieve social and economic objectives - breaking the cycle of hunger and poverty while increasing upward mobility of disadvantaged groups.
Description
Founded in 1997, CCSC is in its 24th year and has graduated 1, 032 students. Each year, CCSC conducts three 14-week training sessions, where students learn culinary skills necessary to obtain employment in the restaurant and food service industry. Our curriculum also encompasses job-readiness skills and relapse-prevention services.
