Mission Statement
The Lord's Place is dedicated to breaking the cycle of homelessness by providing innovative, compassionate and effective services to men, women, and children in our community.
Description
The Lord’s Place, a nonsectarian social impact agency, is committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness with programs and services that include:
Street Outreach and Engagement, meeting people where they are out in the community to connect those currently on the street with necessary services to begin their journey out of homelessness.
Supportive Housing that gives our clients the time that they need in a stable, safe environment to address the issues that led to their homelessness.
Job Training & Placement to help regain economic self-sufficiency. The program assists clients in finding and maintaining employment by offering resume help, interview training, professional clothing, and classes aimed at teaching skills necessary to gain and maintain employment.
Cafe Joshua, our feeding program where we serve hot meals to currently homeless people every weekday, feeding from 180-210 people per day.
