Who would listen? Who would hold my hand in silence?
The elderly, the fragile, the ones who are ill need someone to talk to or even spend sometimes sitting quietly with them. If you enjoy a nice conversation, playing music or reading to someone special, come join us! There are many other ways you can help. ProCare Hospice needs Volunteers to work with Patients and their Families throughout the San Fernando Valley.
Volunteers provide in- home support to those facing a life-limiting illness by spending time with patients and caregivers. You can make your own schedule. Our volunteers are trained by professionals and become part of our team. When visiting some volunteers use arts and crafts, while others lend a listening ear, offer caregiver relief, assist with errands or help patients sort pictures and build a scrap book. The possibilities are endless! There are others who prefer to help in the office. Give us a call and let's explore together how you can best make a difference: (818) 895-8000 or contact Marc at firstname.lastname@example.org
