Help out Asian Health Services and the Oakland Running Festival!
Asian Health Services (AHS) is a nonprofit clinic in Oakland dedicated to bring access to health care to all, regardless of income, insurance status, immigration status, language, or culture. We approach wellbeing by "whole patient health", providing not only primary care services, but also mental health, case management, nutrition, and dental care to more than 27,000 patients in over fourteen Asian languages.
For the fifth year, AHS is partnering with Oakland Running Festival as a charity partner, and as a charity partner, we are required to help Oakland Running Festival run by providing volunteers. This is where YOU come in! Please partner with us by volunteering on behalf of our name in the Oakland Running Festival! There are so many different opportunities to be able to volunteer in the running festival from Friday, March 22 to Sunday, March 24. Please join us to have a healthier, more vibrant Oakland community through this opportunity. All volunteers also receive an event T-shirt to show off your good work!
At this particular opportunity, you will:
- Assist with flow & management of Health & Fitness Expo
- Assist with Runner Registration
- Assist with distribution of Race Packets
- Assist with distribution of Runner Premiums
