People should be able to advocate for themselves and their family members when it comes to health issues. We provide workshops, one-to-one instruction, and support groups to educate and equip people to achieve their best possible outcome. If you are interested in helping present information to elevate understanding about health, nutrition, and medication management, we need you!

Mission Statement
The mission of the Lee County Literacy Coalition is to help adults learn to read, write, and use mathematics at a level necessary to succeed and thrive in society.
Description
Learners are matched with volunteer tutors. The pairs meet in public locations such as public libraries, churches. Appropriate instructional materials are provided free of charge. Our learners' goals vary from learning to read to passing the GED. Volunteers are also needed for the workshops we offer to adults in our community.
