We are now accepting smooth peanut butter and grape jelly in our office 1202 12th Steet Cayce, SC 29033 M-F 8AM-4: 30 PM

On MLK Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Russell House Ballroom at UofSC, volunteers can drop in to take part in an inclusive service event: The Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich-Making Competition. Volunteers with and without disabilities are encouraged to serve together in this unique and fun service event to benefit those in need in our community. Participants have the chance to win some prizes! PB&J's made during the four hours will be brought to the 153 Project, a local organization that feeds many people in need every Wednesday night at Finlay Park. Last year, over 1,700 PB&J's were made. Come help us break our record!

This project provides an inclusive place for people with and without disabilities to come together to serve others. Often, people with disabilities are on the receiving end of volunteerism. This event not only allows them to give back to the community but also lets the volunteers without disabilities learn more about all members of their community. The event also benefits those experiencing hunger and homelessness in our community by providing PB&J's to those in need.
