Nearly 9,500 visitors enjoyed the beautiful lights displayed in our gardens at Massachusetts Horticultural Society's Festival of Trees. We are calling on volunteers to help staff take down the lights and outside decorations from the grounds - before any snow hits - and help organize them in one of our (heated!) greenhouses. Hot coffee, tea, and cocoa will be served! Come spend some time with us in the gardens (or the greenhouse) and help us get this important work done.

Come for an hour or four. Any time is greatly appreciated! Just note your availability in the comment section of the sign up.

Shifts:

Thursday, December 20th, 11 am - 2 pm

Friday, December 21st, 11 am - 2 pm

The Sign Up can be viewed at: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70a0a45a5af23a46-volunteer1

Meet staff in front of the Hunnewell Building at the start of your shift. Please bring heavy gloves if you have them and dress appropriately for the weather.

DIRECTIONS: Massachusetts Horticultural Society's The Gardens at Elm Bank are located at 900 Washington Street, Wellesley, MA. To get to the Hunnewell Building: turn into the drive at 900 Washington Street. Drive over the bridge and turn right (this is a one way road). Follow the road about one-half mile to a Stop sign- turn left and park in the lot, approximately 200 feet beyond the stop. The parking lots will be on your left. You will need to walk through the main entrance gates. The Hunnewell Building will be beyond the gate and the first big building on the right (it's a historic carriage house).

If you have any questions, please contact Amy Rodrigues, Volunteer Engagement Manager, at arodrigues@masshort.org or cell at 781-408-9174.

THANK YOU!
