Block by BLOCK: Innovating from the Ground Up , is a temporary exhibit that challenges visitors to think about how they might apply their abilities to come up with new solutions to social issues they care about. This exhibit showcases a local father-daughter architecture team’s innovative response to Seattle’s homelessness crisis. The BLOCK Project builds sustainable tiny homes for people experiencing homelessness in the backyards of willing Seattle homeowners. As a Block by BLOCK volunteer, you will have the opportunity to engage PacSci guests in discussion about this topic while inside the exhibit. If you are interested in sustainability and innovation, and helping to inspire others to join the conversation about one of our region’s most pressing social challenges, this may be the volunteer opportunity for you!
