The SHIBA Program is looking for two new team members in or near Valley County Idaho who are passionate about the health and financial well-being of our senior and disabled citizens.

As part of the SHIBA team you'll become a Certified Medicare Counselor, and join a nationwide network of volunteers who make sure our seniors have affordable, effective, health care coverage.

Medicare is the largest insurer in the United States, serving more than 275,000 seniors and disabled workers right here in Idaho today, with many more aging into the system every year. SHIBA volunteers say their work is so rewarding because the people they counsel are so grateful to find a free, unbiased source for Medicare information.

SHIBA volunteers are recognized nationwide as Medicare experts.

If are eager to learn and love sharing your expertise with your community, give us a call. You don't have to have any prior knowledge or experience with Medicare to get involved. We've trained hundreds of volunteers in every corner of Idaho and we're confident you'll find this job interesting and rewarding.

SHIBA has virtual volunteer opportunities including assisting beneficiaries using telephone or web-based virtual meetings. All SHIBA/Medicare training is completed virtually. This is in direct response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
