Help increase tree canopy in Denver!
Spread the word about free & low-cost trees offered through the Denver Digs Trees program Work at your own time and pace. Walk a neighborhood leaving doorhangers to let people know about this special opportunity to receive free and low-cost trees through the Denver Digs Trees program. Pair up with friends or go out on your own. There's no knocking on doors. You can do as much or as little of a neighborhood as you'd like. It’s easy and fun!
You can even just pick up some doorhangers for your friends and neighbors.
These trees will grow to cool neighborhoods, conserve energy, filter air pollution, provide habitat for wildlife, beautify our neighborhoods, and reduce greenhouse gases!
Not only will you be helping the environment and our local community, it’s also a great way to enjoy the outdoors, get some exercise, and explore Denver’s neighborhoods

The Park People works to preserve, enhance and advocate for Denver's parks, recreation resources, open space and urban forest.
Description
We are a private, non-profit organization that was founded in Denver in 1969. Since that time, we have devoted ourselves to improving the quality of life for communities throughout Denver by protecting and enhancing our green spaces and urban trees.
We primarily engage volunteers through our Denver Digs Trees program, which provides free and affordable trees to Denver residents. We also cultivate knowledgeable and skilled volunteers through our Community Forester program, which engages volunteers in planting and stewarding the city forest.
With a small staff of 2.5, we are blessed to have an amazing team of dedicated and passionate volunteers who make our work possible and welcome you to join us!
