Prepare her for a lifetime of leadership and be the mentor she needs as a troop leader for girls in your area. Serving as a troop leader is a commitment to helping girls become their best selves by fostering a rich Girl Scout experience. As a troop leader, there are lots of resources to provide you tools to implement programming and equip you to lead girls as they grow.
Volunteering as a troop leader is traditionally a multi-year commitment as the girls look up to you as a role model. As a troop leader, you have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of girls as they make new friends and develop connections that will last a lifetime.
Average 10 hours/month for training, planning, and troop meetings/activities.
