We are looking for creative individuals who are passionate about working with children in a childcare setting. We daily childcare sessions for about 2 hours each session Monday through Friday in the Morning and some evening opportunities. Volunteers would be helping with: singing songs with children, reading books, interacting in an educational manner, playing fun games, getting creative with arts & crafts.
It would be great to have individuals who can commit to coming to the center at least 1 time during the week for one of our two hour childcare sessions. Description
The Parent Resource Center, a Family Resource Center, is a private, non-profit, child abuse prevention agency. The Center offers support to parents through on-site parenting education classes to decrease the risk of child abuse, neglect and family violence. The goal of the Center is to provide emotional and educational support for parents in nurturing and guiding their children through the critical first 5 years of a child’s life.
