Become a Friends of Trees Volunteer Crew Leader!
As a leader in one of our most important volunteer roles, you will help teach our volunteers how to plant trees and work together as a team. Not only is being a crew leader a great way to meet people and develop valuable leadership skills, but you get to learn how to plant trees the right way.
We will keep this training short (1.5 hrs max)! We will go over proper planting techniques, safety protocols, and how to lead a team of volunteers on planting day. You will also receive a coveted Tree Team t-shirt (if you haven't already) and great food (a hallmark of all of our planting events) as well!
This training will be on Thursday, January 10th from 6-7:30pm. Remember, registration is required!
Thanks for your interest in being a leader for community tree-planting -- we look forward to working with you!
