The Haven Home is an emergency overflow shelter for women and children experiencing homelessness. The shelter is a joint effort with Lutheran Metropolitan Ministries but operates as its own 501C3. As a board member you will volunteering your time to help develop and grow the organization through financial support, community engagement and strategic planning. Your application will be reviewed by our board chair, after which you can meet (virtually!) to discuss the roles and responsibilities of a board member. Your application will be reviewed by our full board prior to joining. The board meets virtually every other month. The Haven Home is a faith-based organization located in the Slavic Village neighborhood.

- Must be at least 25
- The board meets every other month for 1-2 hrs. Time is needed for networking, event attendance and donor cultivation.
