Are you passionate about paying it forward by helping established and emergent businesses achieve their goals? If you have business leadership/entrepreneurial expertise, sharing your time and talent as a SCORE volunteer business mentor or workshop instructor may be for you.
Successful SCORE volunteer mentors are good listeners, empathetic, and adept at applying their diverse business experiences/expertise to help clients solve real-world business problems. We give you a coach, train you in our methodology and co-mentor with you as you get to know our clients.
Volunteer business expert opportunities include: 1) Mentoring 2) Conducting workshops and seminars, 3) Developing innovative collaborations and programs with community organizations, or 4) Support chapter operational needs to achieve client service, marketing, community outreach, member service, fundraising or workshop goals.

SCORE, America's premier source of free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs and small businesses, is a nonprofit resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Since 1964, SCORE has helped more than 11 million aspiring entrepreneurs. Each year, SCORE's over 10,000 volunteer business experts provide hundreds of thousands of free small business mentoring sessions and local/online educational services to clients at all points of their business life cycle through over 300 chapters nationwide. In 2019, SCORE volunteer business experts provided 4.9+ million hours to help start more than 29,681 small businesses and support the creation of a total of 97,387 jobs.
