ORGANIZATION: Feel the Beat

FTB Logo

Feel the Beat is a dance studio for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community. We are focused on building a community for these children where they can learn and experience the art of dance in their native language along with providing an opportunity to connect with their peers. We have developed a curriculum that incorporates a combination of touch, Sign Language and a one-of-a-kind vibrating dance floor. As we build this community up we want it to be known that we offer dance for ALL!

Feel the Beat is a local nonprofit dance studio looking for a ballet teacher for our upcoming dance season (January-May). Feel the Beat would love to find someone who has experience as a dance teacher specifically with young children and/or children with disabilities. This teacher would teach children ages 2-12 some of whom have a disability or a hearing loss.

If possible, we would love to hire someone who knows sign language or has experience with it.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $20.00 /hour
