Fixit Clinics are do-it-together hands-on STEM-oriented "fix-n-learn" community-based exploration and discovery workshops. As a volunteer Fixit Coach, you will generously share your time, tools and expertise to consult with the South San Francisco community on the disassembly, troubleshooting, and repair on a variety of items. The Library is looking for volunteer coaches with knowledge and skills repairing any of the following:
- Bikes and Skateboards
- Clothing and Fabric Items
- Computer and Phones
- Toys and wooden items
- Kitchen equipment
- Small electronic devices
- Jewelry
Coaches will lead the repair process, but will also delegate and encourage others volunteers and attendees to participate. Additional training (date and time to be announced) may also be recommended for coaches. Find more details on the Fixit Clinic website: http://fixitclinic.blogspot.com/p/coaches-corner.html
