Needed position is a facilitator for our weekly Mental Aerobics class held at the McKinney Senior Center. This class offers fun, engaging puzzles, word searches, jigsaw puzzles, crosswords, sudoku, mazes and games to seniors that want to keep their minds "sharp" and have some relaxing social interaction within the group. No experience needed other than a love for seniors, social interaction and a bit of prep time. We can help provide the games, puzzles and materials. Attendees work at their own pace and the facilitator is there for those who need help working on any of the materials.
The Wellness Center for Older Adults mission is "to assist older adults in achieving their highest levels of physical, mental, and spiritual well-being."
We serve older adults, 55 years of age and older, and their caregivers in Collin County and surrounding areas. We are based in the Plano Senior Recreation Center and also provide services at various locations across the county and in senior and community centers where seniors gather for activities.
