Peace of Heart Community (POHC) is a non-profit that was founded to create meaningful life opportunities for persons with autism. POHC has 3 primary outreaches: our residential group home for young women with autism opening soon (Peace of Heart Home/ POHH), our community raised bed gardens (Peace of Heart Farm/ POHF), and our art program (Peace of Heart Art/ POHA). Peace of Heart Farm is a 2.5 acre organic garden and is in need of abled bodied people, who can carry between 40-50 pounds. Jobs on the garden vary from caring for animals , seeding, transplanting, organizing, and cleaning our gardens plants. You will get a tour of our farm and our project manager will teach you the ropes of whatever you are helping us in. Please be aware you must wear comfortable shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty because you'll will eventually get dirt somewhere!
At the moment we are looking for males 16+ to help carry and move dirt into our raised bed boxes!!
